White Gum Wool has revised its sock yarn and the new improved version is a 30/70 blend of tussah silk and WGW superfine merino and a new spin. It’s a 4 ply, spun from 4 singles in two pairs, in its new “twist-on-twist” style to improve wearability.The different dye responses of the two fibres result in a subtle heathered look. With the release of this new yarn the colour palette is different to the older nylon reinforced yarn.
