We are pleased to be able to offer the latest Lexington Woolies Tasmania cormo yarn colourway. Hand dyed by Louie and Lola Yarns, this colourway was inspired by the landscapes and rustic beauty of the Tasmanian farm to which the yarn is grown,
Lexington.

Fibre Information
Cormo 100% Wool

Meterage: 4 ply 365m per 100g
Weight: 100g skeins
Needles: 3.25mm. But please do a tension square.
Care: While efforts have been undertaken to ensure removal of any excess dye from the yarn, little may remain, therefore please hand wash projects in cold water using wool detergent on their own. Rinse in cold water, roll in a towel to squeeze out excess water and dry flat.

Product information: Colours between and within dye batches and can sometimes vary. Please ensure that you buy enough yarn for your project at the same time and alternate skeins when knitting larger projects to limit the possibility of pooling.

About Lexington Woolies Tasmania
Lexington Woolies Cormo is sourced from a sheep/alpaca farm in southern Tasmania - named Lexington. Cormo is a genetic bend of Corriedale and merino sheep, pioneered in Tasmania. The owners are local farmers who prioritise providing a brand with ethically sourced wool and superior fibre quality. They do this by being a part of the whole farm to yard production process and ensuring responsible, sustainable practices in animal welfare and land management.

Sheep fleece varies in quality depending on the climate, animal management and the genetics of the animal. The Tasmanian climate is unlike any other state in Australia, therefore with their superior breeding program and climate, the Lexington
product is unique to the farm.

Australian climate - perfect for wool

The vast, open pastures of Australia offer ample grazing areas, promoting healthy, well-nourished sheep that produce high-quality wool.

Tasmania's cooler climate provide ideal conditions for producing exceptionally fine wool, making it a renowned region for premium wool production in Australia.
